We are a non-profit parent support group for the music students and teachers at Dougherty Valley High School. We raise money to support all music programs (Band, Orchestra, and Choir) at DVHS.

 

Did you know SRVUSD pays only our music teachers’ salaries? All other expenses incurred by our programs are paid for by donations raised by the Music Boosters Fund. Your contributions benefit all Choir students when we subsidize items such as:

 

Retreats & LA Tour | Guest clinician fees | Sheet music and class supplies | Choir t-shirts | 

Bus transportation for field trips | Senior scholarships | Festival and competition fees |              Professional concert recordings & Accompanist

 

All these costs can really add up (over $65,000 in projected operating expenses for all music programs this year), but with over 800 students in our musical family, if we each do our part, I know we have the resources to support an incredible year.

 

I ask that all of you seriously consider and commit to help our Choir program in whatever way you can. Any time, talent, or financial contribution you can share with us is greatly appreciated.
