CHOIR-WIDE ROLES

Community Care Team

The Community Care Team is a cornerstone of our choir program. This group of student leaders plans spirit days and games/activities for all the ensembles to promote bonding and inclusivity. Each pod typically has one or more CCT members to help with coordinating activities, spirit days, and pod projects.

Expectations

If accepted, being a CCT member is a year-long commitment. CCT meetings are held once a month, and all members are expected to be present at every meeting unless their absence was excused by Mrs. Walker in advance. Members will work with colleagues in both their ensemble and the entire choir program.

Applications

Check back in AUGUST 2023 for applications!

Be on the lookout for CCT Applications near the beginning of the year! Applications are limited to 2nd-4th year choir students, and typically consist of a number of free-response questions.

INSTAGRAM OFFICERS

The Instagram officers are tasked with running our Instagram account. If you're interested in social media and advertising, this position is a great way to deepen those skills and let your creativity shine! Working outside of school hours and always having your camera ready are some of the role's basic requirements. Applications are released around the end of the school year.

WEBMASTER OFFICEr

The webmaster is in charge of keeping our website up to date with monthly newsletters, upcoming events, and more! Graphic design, formatting, and keeping the site easy to navigate are the key responsibilities for our webmaster - the position is a great way to practice working with an online platform, and develop an eye for graphics! Applications are released around the end of the school year.

Check back in MAY 2023 for applications!

IN-CLASS ROLES

Librarian

Another leadership opportunity is to be your ensemble's librarian. The librarian is entrusted with keeping track of and organizing their ensemble's sheet music. Applications come out at the beginning of the year.

Section Leaders

Looking for a more musical role? Running to be your part's section leader is a great way to sharpen both your musical and leadership skills. Each part typically has one section leader who leads all sectionals, meaning that leaders must have a mastery of their part and be able to guide their classmates through rehearsals. Being able to play piano is appreciated but not required. Applications come out near the beginning of the year.
